Dangerous Lesions

The author saw that a tumor(which is actually cancer) on another woman's back. However, the author could not say that she has a tumor on her back. After she left, the author felt guilty. Did she had to say that at that time?

I think it is quite interesting ethical problem.

 The author suggests two questions.

 1. Would it have been permissible to say something?

 2. But is it obligatory?

I'm grateful to that person for her thoughtfulness.

Are you ethically obligated to report a suspicious fire which you happen upon by accident? Yes. Seeing a seemingly cancerous growth is no different. It is that simple.
