Most people think that global warming is going on nowadays.
It is true, partly.
The thing we need to pay attention is that some politicians and businessmen are exaggerating the facts about global warming to get profit from it.
That is why global warming is one of hot issues all over the world, even though it is not that worrying situation. Also, it does not worth put so much money to slow global warming.
I want to argue that global warming is not that serious as the mass media say. I mention some scientific proof and relation between global warming and the benefit of politician and some businessmen.

Why we cannot see the truth from mass media?
My topic is this.
"Why we cannot see the truth from mass media? What is happening in the mass media companies?"
I want to point out that we are actually getting distorted information through mass media. Also, I will explain the reason of this situation, which is basically related to money.
I think it is worth writing about the reality of mass media because we need to know truth. We need to know what is really going on in our country. We need to know what is really going on all over the world.
One way to get a clear point of view about the world is to know the truth. Otherwise, we will be always confused about the world. We can take a meaningful and exact action based on the truth.
On the starting point, there are mass media companies which provides information.
This is why my audience will want to read my essay.
I will probably approach to this topic in Cause/Effect organization.
* What external sources did I found?
I found two video clips from Ted.com.
One is "Alisa Miller shares the news about the news."
And the other is "Sasa Vucinic invests in free press."
Actually, I searched Ted.com because I prefer seeing and listening to reading.
It is credible because the presenters of those two presentations are working for the media.
In a large extent, they both talk about media. However, Alisa Miller more focused on American media, and Sasa Vucinic more focused on independent media.
Alisa Miller said that American media actually provides news about some particular side. For example, American media focused too much on America itself and Iraq. Also, she said "The death of Anna Nicole Smith. This story eclipsed every country except Iraq, and received 10 times the coverage of the IPCC report." Even though a lot of important affairs are occurring around the world, she pointed out that American media focused on the trivial things.
She explained that one of the reason is that news networks have reduced the number of their foreign bureaus by half. She added "The reality is that covering Britney is cheaper. And this lack of global coverage is all the more disturbing when we see where people go for news."
On the other hand, Sasa Vucinic said that government is related to the close of independent media companies. He said that if government does not like a independent media company, they make them close by cutting money line form advertisers.
He said that "According to relevant researchers, 83 percent of the population of this planet lives in the societies without independent press. Think about that number: 83 percent of the population on the whole planet does not really know what is going on in their countries. The information they get gets filtered through somebody who either twists that information, or colors that information, does something with it. So they're deprived of understanding their reality. That is just to understand how big and important this problem is."
So, what he is arguing is that we need to support independent media companies financially to get more objective information.
Sasa Vucinic suggests a solution for a problem, but Alisa Miller just said " I know we can do better. And can we afford not to? Thank you."
